The winners of the Apsiyon Hackathon, Türkiye’s first PropTech Hackathon, have been announced.


Organized by Apsiyon in collaboration with Coderspace, the online hackathon brought together young innovators developing new perspectives and solutions for the facility management industry.


Held between July 11 and 28, the event gave participants the opportunity to develop their ideas and projects with guidance from experienced mentors.


A total of 220 teams, consisting mainly of university students and recent graduates, applied to the competition. Eleven teams qualified for the final and presented their projects on August 2.


An Experienced Jury Evaluated the Projects


The competition jury consisted of:

Kudret Türk, Co-Founder and CEO of Apsiyon

Meriç Akdamar, Co-Founder and CTO of Apsiyon

Mete Varas, Entrepreneur, Advisor, Non-Executive Director and Purpose Officer

Prof. Dr. Harun Tanrıvermiş, Dean of Ankara University’s Faculty of Applied Sciences and Head of the Department of Real Estate Development and Management


The event began with an opening speech by Kudret Türk and continued with remarks from Prof. Dr. Harun Tanrıvermiş.


Prof. Dr. Tanrıvermiş emphasized the importance of making the hackathon sustainable, expanding it to undergraduate and graduate students from different universities and countries, and supporting the transformation of innovative ideas into marketable products.


He also highlighted the value of networking, teamwork and the new career opportunities such competitions can create for young people.


Mete Varas drew attention to the broad and multidisciplinary nature of PropTech. He explained that the field covers many areas, from housing, offices and commercial properties to construction, facility management, mobility, technology and climate-related solutions.


He also noted that future hackathons could produce even more diverse results by bringing together students from different academic disciplines.


Eleven Teams Presented Their Projects in the Final

Following the opening speeches, the eleven finalist teams presented their projects in the following order:

The participants presented innovative PropTech solutions designed to simplify the lives of apartment and residential community managers and residents.


The competition was free to enter. The first-place team received TRY 50,000, the second-place team received TRY 30,000 and the third-place team received TRY 20,000.


Aspire, consisting of Mert Yıldırım, İlkay Şeki, Arda Nar and Mert Şahin, took first place.


Connected Minds, consisting of Furkan İçöz and Mert Dayanç, came second.


Tavuk Pilav, consisting of Enes Fehmi Manan and Elif Nur Kemiksiz, took third place.


All participants also received surprise gifts from Apsiyon.

The Winning Projects


First Place: Aspire

Apsiyon Kaşif – Apsiyon Personal Real Estate Assistant


Apsiyon Kaşif is designed as a secure and interactive real estate network where residents can publish properties available for sale or rent.


The project aims to address challenges such as unreliable data, anonymous listings, unexpected expenses and limited interaction between property owners and potential buyers or tenants.


Second Place: Connected Minds

Smart Home Application


The project integrates different sensors into living spaces, including temperature, humidity, air quality and motion sensors.


The collected data is stored securely, analyzed and transformed into meaningful insights for users. The system can also trigger relevant actions based on the results, providing a measurable and reliable infrastructure for a smarter living experience.


Third Place: Tavuk Pilav

Apsiyon Social


Apsiyon Social is a 24/7 social network designed to improve communication and social interaction within residential communities.


The platform uses artificial intelligence to detect inappropriate language and perform sentiment analysis on messages that may contain sarcasm or indirect negative expressions.


By creating a safer communication environment, the project aims to strengthen social interaction and positive communication among residents.
