Nihan GÜNELİ

Nihan Güneli graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2009. She also completed her LL.M. in Information and Technology Law at the same university with a thesis titled “Registered Electronic Mail and Electronic Apostille.” She is a practicing attorney registered with the Istanbul Bar Association. Specializing in commercial law, information technology law, and intellectual and industrial property law, Nihan Güneli is also a registered trademark attorney with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. studies in data law. Through various training programs, seminars, and conferences, Nihan Güneli has delivered educational programs on intellectual property law, information technology law, social media law, contract law, and personal data protection law for entrepreneurs, journalists, and students. She has authored numerous articles in the fields of intellectual property and information technology law and has participated in many international projects and reports as both a consultant and contributor. Nihan Güneli is a member of the Information Technology Law Commission and the Personal Data Protection Commission of the Istanbul Bar Association, as well as Propeller Club, IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals), and AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
